Today I come with some curiosities surrounding the iconic Disneyland.

Walt Disney and his family lived in Disneyland Resort

They moved to the park in Anaheim to see how the works advanced. His house was above the false fire station, today the light on in memory is still maintained.

Walt Standards

For 43 years, the staff working in the park had forbidden to wear a beard or mustache, so not a hipster was hired!

Park employees who dressed as Disney characters can never say “no”, “abandon its character”, sit or pointing with one finger.

Cinderella Castle is perceived larger

Cinderella castles in the different parks are built using a barely perceptible inclination and a forced perspective to make them look taller and bigger than they really are. The ornaments , bricks and towers are becoming smaller as take up to create an optical illusion.

Pirates of the Caribbean , a role change

In 1967 the park opened in Anaheim , and the first attraction named “Pirates of the Caribbean” . At that time the “pirates” were chasing some pretty ladies. Following some complaints from visitors who found it a “sexist ” attitude, in the 80s the roles were changed and now it is women who chase men.

Club 33

This exclusive bar exists in all parks except in Orlando , with only 487 members. To be part of it, you must pay $ 10,000 and there is a waiting list for years. It is the only place in the park where you can drink alcohol and is located in the New Orleans Square, almost hidden. Elton John and Johnny Depp are two of the lucky members.

Last wishes

It is forbidden to spread the ashes of deceased in the Disney parks. Not care that they have been super mega fans. Each year more than 100 applications are received.

Lots of Litter bins

It is said that Walt Disney himself made sure that a person with a paper in his hand did not have to give more than 30 steps to the nearest trash can. That is why there is never more than 30 steps between a paper and another.
